Coach, Mike Blaisdell
Mike Blaisdell joined the steelers midway through the 1999-2000 season as a replacement for Don Mckee.
So far Blaisdell has brought the steelers lots of success,including a Grand Slam Championship in 2000-2001,his latest success was the 2002 play off championship.Mike has played for the Canadian National team, and also made it too the NHL,playing for the Detroit Red Wings,New York Rangers,Toronto Maple Leafs and the Pittsburgh Penguins.He also spent 5 years in Nottingham with the Panthers but we all now he's a steeler now!

AHEARNE TROPHY.
The Ahearne trophy fixtures have been sorted out by the I.S.L,and the Steelers will face Norwegian opposition in Lillehammer IK on the 2nd of feb,and Storhamer Dragons on the 8th of febuary.
